Training & Workshops
Practical learning for the realities people face.
Jodie designs and facilitates engaging learning experiences that help people understand themselves and others, strengthen communication, recognize what is within their control, and make intentional choices about how they respond.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience in education, adult learning, mental health, leadership development, curriculum design, and facilitation - alongside lived experience within a first responder family - Jodie brings credibility, compassion, and practical tools into the room.
Jodie is certified to deliver The Working Mind (TWM), The Working Mind First Responder (TWMFR), and TWMFR family courses and is qualified to administer and facilitate the Personal DISCernment Inventory and EQ-i 2.0 assessments and developmental experiences. As a certified Leader Character Practitioner, she also incorporates character-based leadership development into her work with individuals, leaders, and teams.
Programs can be delivered as workshops, facilitated conversations, keynotes, certified mental health training, assessment-based development sessions, or customized learning experiences for organizations and teams.

Leadership & Team Development -
Greater self-awareness. Stronger relationships. Better together.

Personal DISCernment
Understand behaviour.
Strengthen communication.
Build better teams.
DISC provides a practical framework for understanding behavioural and communication styles - both our own and those around us.
Using individual DISC assessments as a starting point, Jodie facilitates engaging conversations that help participants explore how their behavioural preferences influence communication, relationships, teamwork, conflict, and the way they approach their work.
Rather than using DISC to put people into boxes, the focus is on building greater self-awareness and learning how to adapt communication and behaviour to work more effectively with others.
DISC can support:
Self-Awareness | Communication | Team Development | Leadership | Workplace Relations | Conflict Awareness
EQ-i 2.0
Developing emotional intelligence for work. leadership, and life.
Emotional Intelligence influences how we understand and manage ourselves, navigate relationships, respond to changes, and make decisions.
The EQ-i2.0 assessment provides participants with insight into multiple dimensions of emotional and social functioning. Jodie uses assessment results as the foundation for meaningful reflection, facilitated learning, and practical development.
Participants can explore areas such as self-awareness, emotional expression, interpersonal relationships, decision-making, stress management, and the ways these capabilities influence their effectiveness at work and in leadership.
EQ-i2.0 can support:
Leadership Development | Self-Awareness | Communication | Relationship Effectiveness | Decision-Making | Stress Management | Personal Development
Leader Character
Strengthening who we are becoming while we are busy doing.
Leadership is shaped not only by what we know and what we can do, but by the character we bring to our decision, relationships, and actions.
As a certified Leader Character Practitioner, Jodie facilitates development experiences that help individuals and teams explore the dimensions of character that influence effective leadership, decision-making, relationships, and organizational culture.
Using the Leader Character framework, participants examine 11 interconnected dimensions of character: Judgment, Integrity, Courage, Justice, Temperance, Accountability, Humility, Humanity, Collaboration, Drive, and Transcendence.
The focus is not on labelling people as having 'good' or 'bad' character. Instead, participants build greater awareness of their character strengths, identify dimensions that may benefit from further development, and explore how character influences the choices they make - particularly when navigating pressure, complexity, change, and competing priorities.
Leader Character can support:
Leadership Development | Self-Awareness| Decision-Making | Team Effectiveness | Organizational Culture | Values in Action | Leading Through Challenge and Change
*Leader Character can be offered as a focused development experience or incorporated into customized leadership, team, and organizational learning programs
